Where is it made?

BHK operates two manufacturing facilities in America, in Central Valley, New York and South Boston, Virginia.

How long have you been producing drawers?

Since 1971, BHK was one of the first companies to produce vinyl wrap, miterfold drawer sides in Europe. 2004 is our 28th year of producing drawer components in America.

What kind of drawers do you make?

A) DuraWrap^®drawers

 Our DuraWrap^® is .007" thick which is about 10 times thicker than the paper on a melamine board. Core material is industrial grade particleboard.

B) Prefinished wood veneer drawers.

 Our veneer drawer products have a U.V. cured finish on them which makes them extremely durable and impervious to water, thinner, acetone, bleach and alcohol. Cores are available in plywood, M.D.F., and particleboard.

Can I buy from you directly?

 Yes, however minimum orders must be for 400 pieces per size.
Example: 14" long x 13-1/2" wide x 4.0" high = 400 piece order qty.

Smaller quantities may be purchased through one of our local distributors (refer to distributor listing)

Can I buy less than 100 pieces?

Available from our distributors are 8' lengths, already sized to height, and grooved to accept the bottom panel.

What are your tolerances?

All products are manufactured to tolerances of no more than +/- 0.5MM (1/50") for specified dimension.

What sizes do you make?

The height of the product can be as shallow as 2.0"; or as high as 12.75".
Minimum length and width dimension of the drawer can be as small as 6.0" long x 6.0" wide.
Maximum length and width can be as large as 120" long x 120" wide.

Please refer to our list of standard height profiles which will afford you the most economical and fastest available product.

What colors are available?

Our DuraWrap^® products are available in a variety of 19 colors and woodgrain patterns.  Our veneer products are available in Maple and Oak with a natural finish. Other veneers and tinted finishes are available upon request.

What thickness is available?

DuraWrap^® material is available in 1/2" or 5/8" thickness.
Prefinished veneer product is available in 1/2" or 5/8" thickness.

Can I purchase bottom material with my drawer sides?

Yes, BHK offers color matched, full sheets or cut to size bottom material for all its drawer products. Standard thicknesses are 1/8" and 1/4".

Will you drill pilot holes?

Yes, BHK has the ability to drill holes to accomodate the installation of fronts or KD fasteners. Depending on the required pattern, this service can be provided at no extra charge. Please submit a drawing of your drilling requirements for additional information.

What is the lead time?

20 working days or less.

If I buy direct, can I pay by credit card?

Yes, we accept Visa & MasterCard. For your convenience, you can also print our credit application, fill in the required information, and fax or mail the completed form attention: Accounting. Please do not mail or fax a credit application to us if you plan to purchase from one of our distributors.

What are your terms?

Our standard terms for approved accounts are net 30 days. Orders submitted without a completed and approved credit application require up front payment.
All products are shipped F.O.B. factory, unless specified otherwise.
